  5. RACE VOLUNTEER CHECK-IN (830-930AM)

    Needed: FULL

    Check-in volunteers at booth and give them race-day information
    Give out volunteer shirts
    Communicate with Volunteer Coordinator during race day to update status of volunteers

  6. RACE SET-UP TEAM (830-10AM)

    Needed: 5

    Help with set up of site, including tents, start line, finish line, and coordinating, mile markers and water stop
    Recruit a team of people to help facilitate parking situation the day of the walk as needed.

  7. REGISTRATION AND POST-RACE TEAM (9AM-Noon)

    Needed: FULL

    Work registration tables the day of race: check in new and registered participants, give out t-shirts
    Set up and distribute post-race water, and post-race snacks, replenish as needed.

  8. GO! CHEERING SQUAD CAPTAIN (930AM-12PM)

    Needed: 1 – 2 per GO! Squad (need 5 Go! Squads)

    Recruit a minimum of 4 other people to join you in cheering on the runners at designated areas around the race course.
    Be creative—bring noisemakers, signs, and anything else you can think of to encourage the runners as they pass.

  9. COURSE VOLUNTEERS (COURSE MARSHALLS & WATER STOP) (930AM-Noon)

    Needed: 75

    Tend barricades on the side streets along the race course to help ensure runner safety & cross-traffic
    Help hand out water at the water stop (only 3 needed)
    Cheer on the runners as they pass.

  10. POST-RACE CLEAN-UP TEAM (11AM-1230PM)

    Needed: 5

    Help with clean up of trash, supplies moving items, etc., on race course and at the starting line activities after the race is completed.

  11. FINISH LINE FESTIVAL SET-UP TEAM (930-11AM)

    Needed: 10

    Help set up for finish line festival
    Each booth "exhibitor" will be responsible for setting up their own booth area but may need assistance.

  12. FINISH LINE FESTIVAL ACTIVITY VOLUNTEER (1030AM-130PM)

    Needed: 10

    Run a food or activity booth, i.e. popcorn, snow cones, bouncy castle, face painting, etc..

  13. FINISH LINE FESTIVAL CLEAN-UP TEAM (1245-2PM)

    Needed: 10

    Help clean up after the finish line festival is completed to help with packing up grill stuff, tear down booths, pick up trash, etc.
    Each booth "exhibitor" will be responsible for cleaning up their own booth area but may need assistance.

  14. FLOATING VOLUNTEERS (830-11AM)

    Needed: 3

    Jump in wherever you're needed, as the Volunteer Coordinator directs.

  15. FLOATING VOLUNTEERS (11AM-130PM)

    Needed: 3
